It's Wednesday afternoon, tomorrow's the last day of the early hunt.  I've pulled out two moose; one cow ~ 500lbs, and a bull weighing about 6-700lbs.  This year, we see no snow, are more concerned about 40-50 degree temps, than late October snow fall.

The last moose was 2+ miles back in hard woods with lots of rocks and rugged terrain.

This is hard work for horse and handler!

But what a rush for the hunter who bags one of  these magnificent beasts.
